I am testing ScribeFire, a blog editor, after reading about it on Joomlablogger. It installs as an extension to Firefox.
In Joomla!, I also installed two plugins (I also activated the other two xml-rpc plugins in Joomla!) to help it communicate with Firefox:
MetaWeblog API and
RSD (Real Simple Discovery).
After installing Scribefire, I fired it up (F8), gave it my Joomla! installation details and voila, I could blog from Firefox!
Only problem I thought I had, was when opening a specific link, it looked as if the link was the same as all the other links I have inserted. Going to the source code with the Source Editing button, I saw that every link was in fact correct. Strange! But it works.
